If mussolini was to rule our country or become president then our country would not be a democracy. LIke other leaders such as stalin and lenin , Mussolini wanted to gain control over the whole country with out giving people the freedom of speech. If mussolini was to take over the United States then he would speak out to the people and try to persuade his ideas on to others, & support them by giving everybody jobs like a communist country does , since we our decreasing economically.-Then he would run for president and make new laws about his opinion rather then others. I think that Mussolini would do this and it wouldnt work, especially during this century. Our citizens today are way more educated abotu the freedom they have then to let Mussolini persuade them. If people in the country wanted to be controlled over there opinions or income then they would of went to a communist country like places in china or cuba.
If mussolini was to have rule over the united states then, we wouldn't have any freedom.It will be like Stalin's or Lenin's Dictatorship. In my opinion i don't think that his plan will work. People now are more educated and don't get persuaded as easily as people from the past.

If Mussolini was to try and take over the U.S.A then things would not go according to plan. If he would try and become a dictator, congress would stop him.
I think first he would try and campaign for the role of mayor or governor and win the vote of the people. Afterwords he would try and become president. I think he would make many promises which he would not fulfill and eventually get impeached. He would try and act like a dictator and not allow the freedom to the American public.
If mussolini want to become the leader of the American people, he probarely first have to become a president by mean of choice or by mean of fear.
1.He will hire someone to kill his competition.
2. When he become a president, he will use the secret service to stop people from outspoking to him or about his rule.
3. He will censor the news, newspaper and radio and use propaganda.
4.Since this is a free country, he will have to be prepare for a revolution or a war because people wont stay down and accept his rule;if they are wrong.
5. He will change United State of America into a totalitarian state, if he won the revolution.
6.He will rule america like a dictitarship.
He could suceed if he have a strong army to back up about his rule and his plan for america. He will have to win people support, i wont think that will happen. Since he will rule a dictartor.

If Mussolini was the leader of the United States, he would gain power the way President Bush did today.
1. Mussolini would try to conquer certain territories, Mussolini would also try to control the supply of certain items in some countries.
2. He would also give laws that seem unfair to his people and the rest of the world.
3. He would establish borders to prohibit people who are against him from entering the U.S.
4. He would also use the same plans he used in Italy.
5. He would perform squadristi violence to people who were against him.
Mussolini would probaly try to take over the government in the US and then try to become some sort of leader for the US.

If, Mussolini wants to become the leader of the United States. His plans probably would be the same thing he did in Rome/Italy. He would create followers of people who respect him and his plans. Then he is going to be outspoken of things that matters or thing he thinks the government is doing wrong and twist the thing around. He is going to make sure that we understand him by fearing us. He would probably get his follower to do his dirty works, like killing or hurting people who goes against him or spoken ill things about him.
He would make sure that when the government did something wrong, his going to blame them and make sure that the people of the US is sees it and knows it as well. He is going to make sure that some people in the party are going to grateful that he is here to help. Then probably the next step is to make sure that the President is by his side so that he can take control of the government by force. By causing this he is going to make sure that the people are heard and try to get rid of the governments.
This kind of action could lead to riot, strike and a lot of murders at the street. People want powers, so they’ll do anything to get it. They will hurt people they care about. He is going to promise things that people wants to hear and that’s another way he can gain support. The major way that he can gain support is by threatening them into fears. He can control people if he knows their fears because he can send or have secrets police and that way who ever goes against them goes to jail.
His plans won’t succeed, in America. First of all we are a capitalist country, and we choose our own government and President. We make sure that our government doesn’t have that much power over us and the powers they have are equally balanced. We have a lot of freedoms and rights then the other countries, so that might a reason for him not to control our country because it won’t be easy to control a country that can speak their minds out. So no I don’t think his plans are going to work.

If Mussolini wanted to become leader of the American people he would have a hard time. Mussolini would probably first try to get a group of followers to support his ideas and intimidate the rest of the American people. His followers would advertise for him using propaganda.
If anyone was to speak out against him he would have them killed so no one else would think of rebelling. Of course he would make a lot of speeches and false promises to the people. The American public would catch onto his lies and begin to rebel.There would be a big march in the streets heading towards Mussolini's home to kill him. The American people are way to smart to fall for those lies. There is no way the U.S will go from a free country to a communist one.

I think he would try to do it the legal way, by running for president first. And if that fails he would then take the country by force. Forming a fascist group and followers to take us over. He might be successful, and might not because he has to deal with our United States military and other people.

First of all I think it would be hard for Mussolini to take over America because of the peple , they are so civilized .But even if he was too do it first thing he should do is get all the immigrants on his side, because the majority in this country are immigrants. He could maybe tell them he will give them work permits and stuff like that. And for the citizens of this country he could tell them he would decrease tax and rates of other goods. This can make the people start to follow him. Obviously the country wouldn't be the same , we would be following many aspects of communism,which would weaken the country . To me this is the best plan he could do because a lot of people are struggling in America because of financial problems so maybe he can promise them he will solve those problems for them. Then he might be able to take power. But there is no guarantee to this method because Americans are also very smart .
If Mussolini was to rule our country i don't think that he would even get he chance to play out his ideas. i believe this because now a days people are educated and practice their human rights and won't allow them to be taken from the.
i also believe that our government and society will not allow him to become president or let him play any major roles in society knowing his ideas .

If Mussolini wanted to rule the United states it wouldnt take much work. Mussolini would do the same things he did in Italy, thats the best way for him to rule this country. First of all, Mussolini would try to somehow get in the spotlight and have his named mentioned in order for him to be known. Then he'll probably try to become president, using his techniques from Italy, he would kill his competition and make everyone fear him. So he gets the top rank of leadership which is presidency, then there will be marches in the streets for people to go and kill Mussolini. Since Mussolini has control of everything he would use the army to defend him, then probably have somewhat of a mole in the rebel army. He finds out the leaders and orders them to be captured then killed. If he wins the revolution war, then he could finally rule this country like a dictatorship. No one would oppose him, with one of the strongest armies in the world.
If Mussolini wanted to become the leader of the American people, he’d probably try to take power very sneakily. I believe his plans would be very similar to what he did in Italy. He’d probably make a name of himself somehow. Maybe become a small-time famous newspaperman, or a prominent politician. He’d make a name of himself, but not too big. Then, he would become outspoken, start rallying about what he thinks the government isn’t doing right. At that point, people will begin to recognize his voice, and he’ll get attention. He’ll speak of what he thinks the government should be doing, and how they’re wasting money on unimportant things perhaps. He’ll get the people’s attention. I believe that if anyone tries to oppose him, he’ll get his followers to handle the matter. But he’s a smart man, and will always have an alibi. Mussolini would find something wrong in what the government was doing, no matter how small, and make it big. He might even plant face evidence. As soon as he had about 95% of the population on his side, he would have them march and take over the white house. He wouldn’t march along side them; he’d be somewhere safe and let his followers do the work for him. They’d overthrow the government, and then he’d have complete rule. Of course, he’ll try to show his power by taking away rights, killing a few people, and maybe burning down a few of our nation’s treasures. He’d have complete rule.
I don’t believe he would succeed. The United States is a nation we’re democracy is our tradition. We are naturally outspoken about our rights, we take advantage of the freedoms we have, and to have Mussolini try to take that away from us, it just wouldn’t work. Maybe if the U.S. was at a point of great weakness, Mussolini might be able to take power. But other than that, I sincerely believe he would fail at his plan. Not-to-mention that America has state-of-the-art technology and if his opposition wanted to kill him, there’s no doubt that they could.

Mussolini would just try very hard to just persuade his ideas on to others and try to become president but now of days theres no chance of him ever becoming it because the very educated people of the U.S today would never let him try to take the freedom they already have and let him run everything his way.
If benito Mussolini wanted to come &rule the United States , it woudn't happen that easily.Benito Mussolini would be under the law, so he can't just be a dictator.

No, I don't think it's going to work because in America you're under the law & no one can change anything.We have to have votes & vote for our leader instead of having a dictator. So in that case Mussolini will fail.

If Mussolini trys to become the leader of united state. first he would gather up a big army to threat the current government official to get off his path. next he would hold a big gatharing which will allow him to hiptonize the people with his promises and make the people follow his path. then mussolini would take over united state with his army and start to getting total contol of it by turning it into a facist country. he will also start turning people more nationalistic and make life more harder. and i think the way of mussolini wont work, because the people in current time is way smarter then past and the people know's how to make a wise decision. and i believe the people wont accept a dictator in their government in this century.
If Mussolini wanted to rule the United States, he would probably do the following:
1. He would run a campaign just like anyone would do except he would do anything to make himself win.
2. Once he becomes President, he would try to create laws that would be unfair for everybody, but himself.
3. He would try to gain the trust of the American people to achieve his fascist goals without them noticing.
His plans might be clever, but there might be at least a few people that might recognize that plan and spread that idea on t.v.,newspapers, the internet, etc. That will allow all of the United States and the world to know the cruel ways that Mussolini has planned to do to the United States leaving, creating riots and protest that would initiate a revolution inside the United States. That is the power the people has that Mussolini might never understand in the United States to express their idea to the rest of the U.S. and the world and stop any injustice freely.

You convince people that you can offer a security that the incumbent powers cannot and citizens succumb. A good example might be using a catastrophe or terrorist attack to rally a nation to one frame of mind.
Mussolini would use corrupt means to do about this task. He would try to earn the trust of the people and go about a normal campaign. Behind the scenes, he would do small things to give himself the edge in the election. After he is elected, he would definitely try to implement Fascism into the United States.
I do not believe that the American people would allow Fascism to occur in the United States. While I do believe that we are foolish enough to be brainwashed by one such as Mussolini, our system of democracy has existed in our country for decades. Our country is not yet ready for such major change.

I think that if Mussolini was to try and rule our country. It will no longer be a democracy.We will not have andy freedom. Things will not go as the way it is planed.hopefully congress will stop him.We will become a Totalitarian State. Rule like a dictatory ship.I also think he will make it try and become like italy

He was very strong minded and he would quickly try and take our land etc, yet he would try and gain us over by showing us the good side of his fasicm he would tell us how he would help us yet leave out the bad things he would do for the community this is a normal political thing yet his would have larger impact then most. Blinded bu ignorant nationalistic sentiments you can prey upon the fear that most people have of things they do not understand. This is then twisted and manipulated to elevate the popularity of the powers that be.
Examples of this in America are the passing of Bills such as the Patriot Act (sacrificing basic American security rights for the sake of protection) and spying on American citizens.

Mussolini as a leader in the united states would mean pretty serious changes. First of all,if mussolini was to rule he would first try getting through the american people there is no way a capitalist system would be diminished in the United states so thats the first step. Second step he would take if he suceeds in step one would be to establish a industrialized communistic/dictatorship government which would take alot of guts even though the united states is pretty industrialized.But, all in all if Mussolini were to do this he would prosper with an arm and a leg.

If Mussolini tried to take over the U.S. he would either try to lie to the people, and make them believe that he wants a just cause, or he will force it on them, using things such as the secret police, propaganda... He would use things such as the economical decline we are in right now, and the war in Iraq to his advantage, by saying what the people want to hear, like more jobs, and were pulling out of Iraq. Basically almost all politicians are shady, and it's hard to tell apart the good ones, and Mussolini would be one of those, that you couldn't tell apart.
