The Bolshevik revolution happened because during WWI russia took many casualties, and people were starving in the country. The Czar abused his power, and the people got tired of it, and turned to communism. the Bolsheviks revolted, and overthrew the Czar, and appointed Lenin as their leader. Lenin then made Russia into a communist country by applying the ideas of Karl Marks. He made jobs available for the jobless, homes for the homeless, food for the hungry... all through the values of communism through equal sharing.
